This is Genie.

I live in Connecticut with Elena and a peanut called Genie. We recently parted ways with our chicken Harvey. I was born in Australia and went to school on both sides of the Pacific, studying psychology and sociology, and W3C specs after hours. I work at Wesleyan University.

The name Zero to One-Eighty refers to the number of longitudinal degrees to the east and west of the Prime Meridian in Greenwhich, England. My hometown of Brisbane is nearly 180 degrees around the globe, but growing up it felt more like the zero point. Everything’s a matter of perspective.
